Well, its that dreaded time of year again for small business owners…tax time!

Saw this article from the NY Times that talks about some of the areas where small business owners  and individuals may be temped to fudge a little to try to save some money on their tax returns. This include the “Home office” deduction which is obviously one of the great benefits of operating a home-based business. The advice to mitigate your exposure from getting audited is too make sure you properly understand this deduction before claiming it.
